Splash Beatmaker represents the cutting edge of mobile music production, encapsulating the vision of making music creation accessible to everyone. As the Product and Design Lead, I steered the development of this dynamic mobile app, which first launched in 2019 and underwent a significant relaunch in 2022. My role involved navigating the intricate process of refining the app's user interface and user experience to ensure it not only met but exceeded the expectations of our diverse user base—from hobbyists to aspiring musicians. This case study highlights the user-centric design approach I led, which played a pivotal role in elevating Splash Beatmaker's interface. The relaunch focused on enhancing usability and introducing a subscription model that resonated with our users, ultimately driving an uptick in monthly recurring revenue and broadening our user community.
